SEVEN people were taken to hospital after a collision between a van and a minibus on the Stocksbridge by-pass.
Fire-fighters say the minibus was performing an illegal manoeuvre by crossing the bypass to enter the Wortley junction when it collided with the van at 7.30pm on Thursday.
Three fire crews attended and two technical rescue units. Although passengers weren't trapped the fire service cut the seats out of the bus to avoid spinal injuries.
The van driver and six passengers on the minibus were taken to Barnsley Hospital with minor injuries.
A fire spokesperson said: "It is a bad stretch and it is down to human error like speeding or going over the white lines and it looks like this was from error."
