BINS which have not been collected because of the bad weather should be left on the kerbside.
The collection service has been disrupted but a Barnsley Council spokesman said staff are working to empty as many bins as possible. He urged people to 'bear with us'.
"If your grey bin has been missed over the last few days, you are advised to leave this out and we will return as soon as it is safe to do so. Collections will be resuming on Bank Holiday Monday, and we hope to catch up as soon as possible."
