A FULL military funeral will be held on Tuesday for Barnsley soldier Martin Driver.

Capt Driver, 31, died last week, three weeks after being injured in a bomb blast in Afghanistan, and the hour-long service will be held at St John's Church, Cudworth at 1pm.

Colleagues from his battalion, the Royal Anglian Regiment known as the Vikings, are expected to carry his Union flag draped coffin to and from the church. The service, will be conducted jointly by Fr David Nicholson, from St John's, the Royal Anglian's regimental chaplain and padre Fr Alex Strachan.
