ELSECAR became 'Ale-secar' last weekend as it celebrated the Barnsley Beer Festival.
The Campaign for Real Ale event was held in Milton Hall and featured more than 50 cask ales and several ciders.
There was also a selection of perry, stout, mild and imported lagers.
Village pubs The Market and The Milton Arms, which both appear in the Good Beer Guide, also got into the spirit by featuring their own special selections of ales from different breweries across the country.
Phil Hickling from the Milton Arms said: "We had 15 different beers on offer from Scotland right the way down to Cornwall.
"We pretty much covered the whole country so anyone could try something different to what went on in the festival itself."
The festival, which ran from Good Friday until Easter Sunday, came at the end of National Cask Ale Week.
Wombwell's Acorn Brewery had a number of its ales on offer.
Head brewer Dave Hughes said: "This was a national celebration of cask-conditioned beer in pubs and festivals throughout the land. In this area it culminated in a terrific three-day festival at Elsecar, which attracted visitors from a wide area."
