THE Peel Square public toilets will be closed for 30 minutes on Monday while they are used as the backdrop of a photo shoot.
And no, it’s not for a dodgy magazine.It’s for the album cover of 1950s band AC and the Delcos’ debut CD.
“We just had this idea of a photo of us all in a line at the urinals, and came up with the idea of calling the album ‘At Your Convenience’,†said drummer Pineapple Geoff, 51.
But with their 50s’ theme it couldn’t be any old toilets. “It had to be Peel Square toilets, because they’ve not changed since the 50s."
The toilets will be closed from 9am to 9.30am on Monday.
