BARNSLEY has 80 public sector workers earning more than £100,000 a year in salaries and bonuses. And 11 of them earn more than the Prime Minister. Figures released this week show that the 80 people, employed across Barnsley Council, Barnsley Hospital and NHS Barnsley, share between them more than £10m a year. Their average salary is £128,000.
