BARNSLEY Council chief executive Phil Coppard has ditched traditional Christmas cards in favour of an e-card to save money.
The card is accompanied by a version of 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland'. Rather than a video of real snow falling on the town hall, the flakes are animated.
Mr Coppard says in the email: "While working to reduce our spending we are keen not to lose the spirit of Christmas. So to help save money, but at the same time continue to send you our festive greetings, please find attached our e-Christmas card."
