NOVELTY firemen’s helmets, burglar alarm sensors, sink plugs, tool boxes, retractable craft knives, PVCu window frames and sex toys.

The connection? They are all made by the 30 disabled people who work at Moorland Plastics in Barnsley.

Tony Horn, 60, has worked at Moorland for 15 years. He said: “I’ve got heart problems. I’ve had skin cancer. I’ve got high blood pressure, diabetes and neuropathy in my feet. I need 30 pills a day to keep me standing up. “But I think it’s coming to work every day that gives me that drive.”
