A MEMBER of the musical family 'The Deightons' died on Christmas Eve, aged 37.
Kathleen Deighton Cousins had been diagnosed with aggressive liver cancer in June following the birth of her first child Freyja.
She was one of five children who made records with their parents Dave and Josie as the Deighton family in the 1980s and 90s. The band was successful on the folk music circuit and was popular in America.
All the family were at her bedside when she died on Christmas Eve at her new home in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire.
