Ghostbuster Iain Lawrence came to Wombwell Woods searching for ghouls and ghosts among the flora and fauna.
He said he was interested in the woods because of a history of murders, rapes and devil-worshipping performed there. The ex-serviceman runs Hauntastic Events - a company that specialises in 'psychical research' - which seeks to find evidence of the paranormal through scientific methods.
Iain said he has dedicated his life to investigating the paranormal and he has a vast array of electromagnetic frequency gauges and hypersensitive video and audio recorders.
He said: "I can't prove there are ghosts - we avoid using the 'g' word - but there is something out there and we can try to record it.
"Believe me, no matter how long I do this, I still get very scared."
