Reds manager Mark Robins is hoping not to be 'hamstrung' in his team selection for the clash with Reading on Saturday.

Danny Haynes limped off in the early stages of Sunday’s draw at Cardiff with a hamstring injury, while both centre-halves, skipper Jason Shackell and loan star Paul McShane, battled on with slight hamstring strains.

And Jacob Mellis was forced to miss training yesterday with a similar ailment.

With Stephen Foster still on the sidelines, Shackell and McShane have combined well at the heart of the Reds rearguard – and Robins believes that both men will be fit enough to face Reading.

Robins told the Chronicle: “We are still waiting on a couple but hopefully we will have them all available. We also had Hugo Colace back training on Thursday so that’s a boost.
