Elsecar Heritage Railway volunteers have taken a delivery of track and sleepers for a new crossing.
Volunteers gathered at Tingle Bridge Lane in Hemingfield to receive the track, which has been funded by the Sir Joseph Paxton Foundation.
They have launched an appeal to raise more funds to pay for the works associated with installing the new crossing. Theirl aim is to extend the track a further mile to Cortonwood retail park.
