BARNSLEY boxer Callum Simpson hosted a Q and A session in the town centre this week.
Simpson is set to fight Ivan Zucco for the European Super Middleweight Title at Oakwell on Saturday, June 7.
He spoke to fans who attended the event at Market Kitchen in the town centre on Tuesday evening.
Barnsley social media personality, Kadie-Leigh Hanlon, was on hand to host the Q and A.
Coun Robin Franklin, cabinet spokesperson for regeneration and culture, said: “It’s fantastic to see Callum representing Barnsley on such a grand stage.
“We’re thrilled to have him join us in our vibrant town centre ahead of his title fight at Oakwell.
“We’re very proud of Callum’s achievements and he is very proud of Barnsley.
