Hoylandswaine’s winning start to the Huddersfield Premiership season came to an end with a loss at home to Rastrick who overtook them at the top.
Swaine – who had won their first seven league games – fell 63 runs short chasing 242, after Max Morley took three wickets.
Adeel Baig took nine wickets as Hoylandswaine 2nd XI won by 129 runs at Kirkheaton in the Conference.
Callum Honeyman made 74 not out in Swaine’s 202 then Baig claimed the first nine wickets.
