Barnsley will begin their 2025/26 season with their longest trip of the campaign to Plymouth Argyle on the weekend of August 1-3.
They then are due to host Burton Albion and Bolton Wanderers on the following two Saturdays and, after trips to Peterborough and AFC Wimbledon, conclude August at home to Huddersfield Town.
They are due to face Yorkshire derbies against Bradford City, Rotherham United and Doncaster Rovers in consecutive games in October and November.
The Boxing Day game is at home to Mansfield before they host Lincoln on December 29 before visiting Wigan on New Year’s Day.
The season is due to end at home to Stockport County on the first weekend of May.
Barnsley have been drawn at home to Fleetwood Town in the EFL Cup first round.
