Barry Cotter has moved to League Two Notts County for the season on loan from Barnsley.
The 26-year-old Irish wide man signed from Shamrock Rovers in January 2023 for £20,000.
Cotter played 72 times - 35 starts and 37 off the bench - and scored four goals.
He is out of contract at the end of the season so appears to have played his final Reds game.
Cotter had mainly played as a wing-back for the Reds but, with new boss Conor Hourihane changing to a back four, he was used more as a winger at the end of last season and Tuesday’s friendly at Emley.
