JABARI Mills took seven wickets as Darfield bowled Penistone out for 45 in a South Yorkshire League Division One win.

Darfield were 71 for seven but number eight Anees Hussain made 58 with five fours and three sixes to lead them to 152.

Penistone’s Connor Smythe took five wickets and Ben Askey three.

Darfield’s Mills claimed seven for 22 and Zeeshan Ahmad three for 22.

Darfield are second and Penistone second-bottom.

There were also seven wickets for Zain Maqsood in Houghton Main’s 96-run win at Whitley Hall.

Noman Waheed made 63 in Houghton’s 217.

Higham fell 97 runs short chasing 291 at home to Frecheville in Division Three.

Brad Gledhill and George Deegan took three wickets then Gledhill made 61 not out.

Worsbrough Bridge bowled Treeton out for 121 but were skittled for 103.

Mark Wilkinson took five wickets and Liam Levitt four.

Wath 2nd XI were bowled out for 194 chasing 235 against Sheffield Collegiate 3rd XI. Luke Roddison took four wickets and James Barnard made 80.

Kexborough defended 167 by removing Thorncliffe and Wentworth for 114 in Division Three. Suthaharan Nadesapillai top-scored with 50 then took three wickets as did Thava Nig. Kexborough are third, two points off the promotion places with a game in hand.

Wombwell Main were out for 129 in a seven-wicket home loss to Stocksbridge.

Alex Gough took five wickets but Barnsley Woolley Miners 3rd XI were dismissed for 109 chasing 152 at Barnby Dun.

Silkstone United were skittled for 122 in a nine-wicket home defeat to Ackworth in Division Five.

Satvir Singh hit 98 not out off 39 balls as Green Moor chased 158 for an eight-wicket win at home to Wickersley 3rd XI in Division Six.

Jake Sharp took four wickets then Singh hit six fours and 11 sixes.

Darfield 2nd XI removed Caribbean Sports 2nd XI for 75 defending 148.

Dearne were bowled out for 98 chasing 247 at Eden Grove Parklands in Division Eight. Ben Whitehouse took three wickets.

Houghton Main 2nd XI beat Hallam 4th XI by 45 runs. Gul Safi took four for 12 to bowl Hallam out for 123.

Kexborough 2nd XI won at Monk Bretton 2nd XI by 29 runs. Paul Bowmer made 74 off 60 balls for the Monks but they were bowled out for 203 with four wickets each for Kexborough’s Thomas Green and Dale Shillito. Green had smacked 83 not out off 39 balls with nine fours and six sixes.

Cawthorne 2nd XI won by 72 runs at home to Aston Hall 2nd XI in Division Two.

Brennan Wilson made 68 and Harry Sullivan 84 not out in Cawthorne’s 271 then Thom Macrow took six wickets.

Elsecar 2nd XI fell nine runs short chasing 194 at home to Hallam 2nd XI.

Musa Altaf took four wickets then made 59 with Oliver Blackburn adding 56.

Barnsley Woolley Miners 4th XI won by 18 runs at home to Adwick-le-Street in Division Seven. Steven Dixon took five wickets.

Silkstone United 3rd XI lost by 34 runs at Oughtibridge 3rd XI in Division Nine. Joe Green scored 63 in Silkstone’s 162.

Elsecar 3rd XI lost by a wicket after posting 123 at Sheffield University Staff 2nd XI. Jack Pearson took four wickets.
