Barnsley have accepted a bid of £1.3million from fellow League One club Wycombe Wanderers on Friday, according to the Bucks Free Press.

As reported in this morning's Chronicle, previous bids have been turned down, but there has been no comment from the club on today's reports.

Connell, 24, has three years remaining on his current contract including a club option.

The midfielder signed from Celtic in 2022 and has played 123 games, scoring five goals.

The Reds have previously said they will have to sell players this summer.
