BARNSLEY’S academy teams are set to restart their seasons over the coming days.
Barnsley under 18s will travel to Colchester United on Friday from 2pm.
The young Reds finished sixth in the Professional U18 Development League last season, winning 14 of their 31 games.
Barnsley u21s will kick-off their campaign on Monday away to Millwall at 2pm.
A number of new additions have been made to the side ahead of the season.
Aston Ellard, Ben Jordison, Kingston Simbai and Nathan Willis have arrived at Oakwell, as well as contract extensions for existing Reds Bayley McCann, Ziggy Kozluk, Aaron Atkinson, Luke Alker and Tom Senior.
