FATHER and daughter filmmaking duo Dean and Rebecca Sills are celebrating after receiving two more awards.
Dean, 57, and 26-year-old Rebecca, from Bolton-upon-Dearne, received the awards for their first feature-length documentary - Laurel and Hardy’s Yorkshire Adventures.
Their project was chosen as ‘Best Editing’ and ‘Documentary’ at the London Indie Film Festival.
Dean said: “We are extremely grateful to the London Indie Film Festival, not only for the recognition in their festival as an honourable mention but also for the support they have given us especially on social media.”
The film has now won ten awards in International Film Festivals and picked up 12 awards altogether since its release in May when it premiered at the UK Sons of the Desert Convention in Harrogate.
The film is available to watch right now exclusively on Talking Pictures TV Encore and is due to be released on DVD in October.
