Barnsley will visit League One rivals Peterborough United in the FA Cup second round on the first weekend of December.
The Reds beat York City at Oakwell in the first round on Saturday while Peterborough saw off Cardiff.
Barnsley have already won at London Road in the league this season while Peterborough are currently bottom in League One.
The Posh recently sacked Darren Ferguson and replaced him with Luke Williams.
