Wombwell Town sank to last place in the NCEL Premier Division after a 2-1 loss at Horbury Town in a bottom-of-the-table clash on Tuesday.
The hosts took the lead but Jack Wilson levelled soon after to make it 1-1 at half-time.
Horbury won it with a penalty in the 80th minute.
Wombwell are winless in 11 games in the league and have only collected two points from ten away league games this season.
They have 14 from 18 games and are one point from safety.
Town – who had targeted a top half finish at least after winning the Division One play-offs last season – are due to reach the halfway point in their campaign when they host Thackley on Saturday.
Athersley Rec lost 4-1 at home to Armthorpe Welfare on Tuesday in Division One.
The visitors were 2-0 up after 15 minutes then Kane Reece quickly pulled one back.
But Armthorpe scored again early in the second half then added a fourth late on.
Rec are 18th, three points and two places clear of the relegation zone.
Worsbrough Bridge were due to play at Route One Rovers on Wednesday but the game has been called off due to damage to the hosts’ astroturf pitch.
