A LAND owner says the Cudworth and West Green bypass is going to ruin his farming business.
But Chris Rawlinson told the inspector at a public inquiry into the road that he would accept that if an access road from a proposed roundabout is made to his land off Bloemfontein Street, Cudworth.
He says the access would enable him to build up his classic car and repair business and hopes to make a living that way instead of in farming which had already been hit by the decline in the agricultural industry.
The only objector to make his case in person on Wednesday, the second day in the inquiry, Mr Rawlinson told the inspector Christopher Millns that had the council consulted landowners in more detail the inquiry could have been avoided.
