Worsbrough Bridge won 7–1 at bottom club Glasshoughton Welfare in the NCEL Division One on Saturday.
Liam Flanagan scored a hat-trick with the other goals coming from Lewis O'Connor, Stephen Williams, Jamal Stewart and Daniel Booth.
Bridge have won seven in a row and 16 of 18 in the league since losing the first two.
They are third, two points behind Harrogate Railway and six off leaders Dearne and District who have played two extra matches but did not play in the league this week.
Athersley Rec lost 4-2 at Brigg Town.
After the Penguins fell behind, Luca Cancelo’s brace put them 2-1 up.
But Brigg levelled with a penalty on the stroke of half-time then added two more.
Rec are 18th, three points and two places above the relegation zone, at the halfway point of their season.
Penistone Church lost 4-0 at Handsworth in the NCEL Premier.
They are winless in nine in the league and tenth in the table - eight points above the relegation zone and 11 off the play-offs.
