ELITE AFC were the only Barnsley team to play at home on a rainy Saturday but lost 5-1 to Dinnington Town in the Sheffield Senior Cup.
The match was played on the Astroturf pitch at Elite’s home ground of Dorothy Hyman Stadium.
The defeat to their fellow Central Midlands League side meant they could not join Worsbrough Bridge, Dearne and District and Barnsley under 21s in the last eight.
