Bayley McCann has left Barnsley to join his father’s club Doncaster Rovers.
The 20-year-old left-back played once in the league, off the bench against Blackpool in March - the game before Darrell Clarke was sacked.
Next head coach Conor Hourihane has not played McCann who has now signed for his father Grant McCann’s Doncaster.
Grant also played for Barnsley.
Bayley’s loan at Alfreton will continue.
