The visitors went 2-0 up but Justin Circuit replied before half-time then Dearne netted three times early in the second half through Adam Baskerville, Joshua Dacre and Jamie Austin.
Harrogate scored a third but Austin completed the home victory.
Dearne are 15 points clear in the only automatic promotion place with 77 from 31 and 11 to play.

Athersley Rec won 5-0 at home to Maltby and leapt out of the relegation zone.
Kane Reece scored a hat-trick with Jack Woodcock and James Woodhouse also on target.
They are two points and a place clear of the relegation zone.
