BARNSLEY tennis coach Calvin Betton narrowly missed out on taking another player into a Grand Slam final this week.
The New Lodge man is the coach of Luke Johnson, from Leeds, who partnered Pole Jan Zielinski in a newly-formed duo. They lost their semi-final in the Australian Open in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Betton has also coached Henry Patten and Harri Heliövaara to victory in Melbourne last year and Wimbledon the year before.
