Dearne and District won 4-0 at home to Athersley Rec in a Barnsley derby on Saturday in NCEL Division One.
Adam Baskerville, Justin Circuit and Cian Guest made it 3-0 after 21 minutes then Baskerville scored again late on.
Dearne are six points clear of second-placed Wakefield with a game in hand while Rec stay a place above the relegation zone.
Wombwell Town lost 3-1 at home to Barton Town in the NCEL Premier.
The visitors scored in the fifth and eighth minutes then James Byford replied in the 12th.
Barton scored again before the break.
Town are last, 13 points adrift of safety, and winless in 22.
Tenth-placed Penistone Church drew 1-1 at Tadcaster Albion on Saturday, conceding a last-gasp leveller.
Reece High had opened the scoring after 25 minutes.
