BARNSLEY’S men won 24-11 at home to Castleford in Yorkshire Division Three.
It was a second straight victory for the Shaw Laners who are sixth with 37 points from 17 games, 21 points clear of last place so cannot go down.
The try-scorers were Dave Reed, Will Jackson, Kuziva Manzani and Joe Green.
Jackson converted two.
Their next game is due to be at home to Wheatley Hills on April 11, with two away trips then to finish the season.
Barnsley Ladies lost 24-20 at home to West Park Leeds in the Championship One North.
They are due to host Blaydon Red Kites on Saturday then complete their season a week later at home to Bury St Edmunds.
Wath made it 14 consecutive victories with a 47-24 success at Harrogate Pythons.
Anthony Davies, twice, Ben Cairns, Alex Butterworth, James Thompson and Ryan Burrows scored tries with Jack Whitlam adding five conversions to make it 40-7.
The hosts came back into it in the second half but Alex Pegg scored Wath’s last try with Whitlham converting.
Wath are first in Yorkshire Division One, level on points with second-placed Dinnington with both having four games left.
Wath are now due to host third-bottom Hullensians on Saturday.
Wortley are due to visit Stocksbridge in Yorkshire Division Four.
