POLICE are appealing for information after a pedestrian was taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’ following a collision in Worsbrough.
Officers were called at 9.56pm last Saturday night (March 21) following reports of a collision on Sheffield Road.
The pedestrian, a 50-year-old man, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is assisting officers with their investigation.
A police spokesperson said: “We are urging any witnesses who are yet to speak to officers to contact us, and those with dash cam footage from the minutes prior to the collision, that may have captured either a white Ford Focus travelling along Sheffield Road from the M1 towards Worsbrough, or a pedestrian wearing dark clothing in, or around the Sheffield Road and Texaco Petrol Station.
