BARNSLEY’S own Rogan Ravenhill has been named as the club’s PFA Community Champion for this season.
The PFA Community Champion Award recognises professional footballers who go above and beyond to support their club’s local community projects and charity initiatives, rather than focusing solely on on-pitch performance.
Recipients are chosen for their active engagement with fans, school visits, and charitable causes.
A spokesperson for the Barnsley FC Community Trust said: “A proud Barnsley lad, Rogan has gone above and beyond supporting a wide range of our programmes from schools and disability sessions to inspiring young goalkeepers.
“His commitment comes from a place of real connection having once attended our football camps as a participant, he now gives back to the very community that supported him. “
