Figures released by Barnsley Council show all 300-plus stalls in the market halls, and semi-open market, are let.
It also claims the open market is 'performing at its strongest for several years' with nine out of ten stalls on the Tuesday second-hand market occupied by sellers.
According to council figures, 85 per cent of stalls are also let to traders at the Saturday general market and more than 300,000 visit monthly.
But Emma Nugent, 34, who set up Nugget's Accessories stall in the semi-open market about two months ago, said only '12 or 13' people are visiting each day.
