STAINBOROUGH won by 58 runs at Notton Challengers in Division Two of the Pontefract League.

Josh Abson’s 86 helped Stainborough to 212 then Challengers were out for 154 with four wickets each for William Tyas and Marley Wood.

Notton’s N Mohammed took three wickets then Faisal Yameen made 60.

Darton removed Rothwell for 67 in an eight-wicket win.

Will Turner took five wickets and Jordan Hunter four.

Thurnscoe Institute were out for 116 in a five-wicket home loss to Glasshoughton.

Notton bowled Old Sharlston out for 48 having made 181 in Division Two. Chris Andrew made 60 then Selwyn Barnsley took four for one with Tom Hunter taking three wickets.

The hosts lost their last nine wickets for three runs.
