BARNSLEY South MP Stephanie Peacock attended the Trooping the Colour celebrations.
Although King Charles’ birthday is on November 14, the Sovereign’s official birthday is marked by Trooping the Colour, which fell on June 13 this year.
The event took place on Horse Guards Parade in London and featured over 1,350 soldiers of the Household Division and the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, including 300 musicians from the Massed Bands.
Stephanie said: “It was such a privilege to attend Trooping the Colour to mark the official birthday of His Majesty the King.
“It was a magnificent display of military tradition and pageantry with over 1,000 soldiers, 200 horses, 300 musicians and a RAF fly-past.”
