NOTTON Challengers won by 22 runs at home to Rothwell in the Pontefract League Championship.
Faisal Yameen made 69 in Norton’s 166 then claimed eight for 23.
The Challengers then chased 118 for an eight-wicket win at Rossington in the Beaumont Trophy quarter-final.
Stainborough tied at home to Glasshoughton with both sides making 153. George Tyas top-scored then Josh Abson took five wickets including the last one to secure the tie.
Darton won by four wickets at St Chad’s Broomfield. Will Turner took six wickets to bowl the hosts out for 143.
