A WOMBWELL bodybuilder who has undergone a huge transformation after losing more than 100 kilos finished in second at a recent Miss Universe competition.
Krystina Jamieson says she was always a confident woman and never had any issue putting on a bikini despite her weight.
At her heaviest she weighed 24-and-a-half stone - and it was while she was on holiday in 2018 that she says she decided to lose the weight.
She turned to bodybuilding last year and her hard work has now paid off, finishing second in the Miss Universe competition in Italy.
Krystina has now been invited to represent Great Britain at Miss World in October.
She told the Chronicle: “I am absolutely humbled, honoured and in disbelief that from where I started I am now runner up Miss Universe in a bodybuilding competition that has competitors from around the world fighting for the title.
“I hope I have proven that it is achievable for anyone and putting Barnsley on the international map of bodybuilding is great.
“I am lucky that through this I have been able to get huge celebrity USA and Australian bodybuilders visiting my gym.
“I will be heading to Rome in October to try and get a Miss World title.
“Next year I am going to the US to compete at Muscle Beach.”
