BARE-CHESTED fire-fighters feature in a calendar that has gone on sale to raise money for a cancer charity.
Crew members from the Barnsley and Cudworth stations agreed to pose in uniform for the calendar which has been put together by Trisha Binney, of Dodworth.
Trisha, 43, of Queen's Drive, wants to raise about £3,000 for charities which supported her son Daniel, 17, during his battle with bone cancer.
She said: "Daniel is in remission. He's going to Barnsley College to study IT and is having driving lessons and is doing really well - hopefully it will stay that way.
"We've sold about 300 calendars and there are about 200 left. We just want to make some money for everyone involved in Daniel's care."
Fire-fighters Iain McDonald, Stephen Osborne, Phil Brookes and Carl Fothergill agreed to do the calendar, in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, after footballer models cancelled days before the photo shoot.
They were recruited by fire crew manager Ade Bell, of Cudworth fire station.
Trisha added: "We were supposed to be having some footballers but they let us down at the last minute and a friend of mine sent an internal e-mail to ask if anyone would help. We had they photos done and they look great."
Daniel was treated at Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield in August last year and Trisha said: "The teenage cancer unit at Weston Park has a specialist team run by Teenage Cancer Trust. They are wanting to refurbish the unit and I wanted to help in any way I could."
