BARNSLEY Riding for the Disabled staff are celebrating the latest addition to the team — a one-eyed pony.
Charlie had been on loan at the Oakwell stables when Mandy Rylance from Gala Bingo visited the centre.
She fell in love with the 13-year-old pony, who had the same name as her late father, and decided he would make a great donation to the charity.
Mandy presented Charlie to the centre, along with a new set of equipment, on Wednesday.
The money was raised by bingo players who had to put £1 in a box every time their phone went off in the middle of a game.
