NEW guttering has been put on a Wombwell block of flats scheduled for demolition later this month.
The work was carried out on behalf of Berneslai Homes on the flats in Bondfield Crescent, Wombwell.
Residents complained to councillors on their walkabout surgery in Wombwell this week and said it's not fair the work has been done when other properties along Bondfield Crescent and Wooley Avenue still need improving.
One man said: "It's crazy - the council puts new guttering up on flats where no one's in and people along Bondfield Crescent and Wooley Avenue are still waiting.
