Her son thinks she's mad but 87-year-old Betty Fawcett is looking to give George Formby a run for his money after picking up a ukulele.
Betty, from Royston made the trip down to Argos this week after a visit to Royston Methodist church from a local ukulele club.
She was so impressed she has decided to give it a go.
Her friend Anne Smith is teaching her the basics and she is hoping to join a club in Barnsley.
"My son thinks I'm absolutely mad but there you are," she laughed.
"I don't think I'll be playing Leaning On A Lamppost, I think I'll be doing She'll Be Coming Round The Mountain When She Comes."
Betty says she can already read music after learning to play the piano as a child.
She still has a keyboard which she dabbles on, she says.
