FOLK musician Kate Rusby's record label is creating a high-tech music studio in the Barnsley countryside.

Her home - an 18th century farmhouse between Oxspring and Green Moor - has recording equipment in a neighbouring barn. But she is preparing to move so the house can be converted into Pure Records' offices and somewhere for musicians to stay. Emma Holling, Kate's sister and office manager, said: "We're just putting the word out because Kate has a lot of contacts. It's so lovely and out of the way."
