A BARNSLEY company that sells corsets is shipping thousands overseas thanks to a surge in interest.
James Burton, 41, launched Hot Corsets with the help of his sister Rebecca in 2011 and now ships thousands around the world.
He started the business from home after Rebecca, 36, was struggling to find a black corset for a fancy dress party.
"I was already working for myself as a web designer and when Rebecca was struggling to find what she wanted, she said 'You should set up a website selling corsets.' I started selling bits on eBay and it took off from there.
"Last year we sold more than 30,000 items and we have 85,000 likes on Facebook."
Customers are advised to buy corsets four inches smaller than their waist size to create the perfect hourglass shape.
The business is now based at Mount Osborne business Centre, Oakwell, and there are another two part-time members of staff who help with admin and shipping.
