ALMOST 500 runners took part in this year's annual charity Zombie Run to raise more than £8,000 for Barnsley Hospital Charity.
The event saw runners try and avoid the gory 'undead' predators whilst tackling an obstacle course.
Held at Worsbrough Mill last Saturday, the event has so far raised £8,000 in entrance fees with sponsorship money still coming in.
Obstacles throughout the 5k run including the 'hay mountain', the 'river cross' and the 'zombie prison', while the shuffling horde chased behind.
Horizon Community College and Springwell School pupils supported the run by helping to build obstacles for the course, with a large number volunteering as zombies on the day.
