BARNSLEY barber Jamie Dunning snipped his way to the final of a national competition.
Jamie, 22, of Croft Close, Mapplewell, competed in Wahl Search For A Star - the UK's biggest salon convention in London.
He took his model friend James Palmer, 23, and created a 1950s' jelly roll - similar to those seen sported by John Travolta in the hit film Grease.Although he didn't win, Jamie, who works at Savills in Sheffield, said he had a fantastic time.
He added: "I love to cut it and style hair and I was excited to be on stage and showcase my talent at one of the UK's biggest conventions.
"This was my second competition this year and I managed to be in the final and win something.
"I'm proud of what I did, despite not winning."
