ONE of the things Michael Parkinson misses most about his home town is Barnsley Bitter.
And when the people at Stancill Brewery - who rescued the Original Barnsley Bitter recipe - found out they decided to brew a special ale in his honour - a special beer which is called Parky's Pint of Charity Pale Ale.
The beer will be launched at The Crown and Anchor in Barugh Green on Wednesday.
