EASTENDERS actress Samantha Womack is coming to Barnsley to open a new nursery extension.

Samantha, who plays Ronnie Mitchell on the BBC 1 soap, will officially open the extension at Barnados Family Centre at Priory Campus, in Pontefract Road at 1pm on Monday.

Samantha is currently starring as Fairy Bowbells in Dick Whittington at the Sheffield Lyceum.
