A GRIEVING mum whose two sons were killed in a fire started by their father has launched an appeal to help her move on with her life.

Jack Sykes, 12, and his brother Paul, nine, died after the devastating blaze started by their father Darren Sykes last October.

Heartbroken Claire Throssell has now launched at £70,000 campaign to refurbish and sell the former family home so she can buy a new home in Penistone. Sykes had cancelled the home insurance four months before starting the fire.

The 'Care for Claire' campaign is being spearheaded by Rev David Hopkin, rector of Thurlstone and Penistone Team Ministry.
