THE owner of a 1969 Ford Zodiac is appealing for help to fix it so he can use the car to raise money for a children's charity.
Wayne Bourdon, of Kelly Street, Goldthorpe, said he wanted to use the car - nicknamed 'Bumble' because it's black and yellow - to help a charity called Hope and Homes For Children.
Wayne said: "Bumble turns heads everywhere she goes and unfortunately attracts vandals who smashed windows and dented the bodywork. We used to take her to shows and parades but it now requires a lot more time spending on her to bring her back to how she should be."
Wayne bought the car in 2009 as a shell and had been renovating it. He hopes a mechanic can help by letting him put the car on a ramp - as he has all the supplies.
