THE countdown to the LIVE in Barnsley music festival is now underway after a launch at the town's White Bear.
This is the free festival's third year. It takes place on Saturday June 20 and involves 14 venues and 126 bands.
There are two extra venues this year - Soul Lounge and Esmerelda's.
Organiser Dave Pearsall kicked off the launch on Friday.
The festival last year involved 500 musicians and brought in more than 4,000 people to town.
